Joe Bonamassa is a master of blues. Blessed with the gift of preternatural musicality from a very young age, he grew up immersed in the sounds of musical royalty. Now, Bonamassa brings his 3 Kings Tour to Shoreline Amphitheatre on Saturday 22nd August, to honor blues legends Albert, B.B. and Freddie King. Look forward to a show that will make every hair stand on end, as you experience him like you never have before…
Virtuoso guitarist Joe Bonamassa has his roots deep in the belly of blues music. A child prodigy, he started his path as a guitarist at the tender age of 4. By age 12 he was playing gigs all over Pennsylvania and New York with “Rosie”, a crimson 1972 Fender Stratocaster gifted to him by his father. It was during this time that the young sensation was asked to open 20 shows for blues legend BB King, and by the time he reached adulthood, he had already shared a stage with many of his heroes and musical influences. Now 37, Bonamassa has had a successful career, with all 5 of his solo studio albums reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Blues Chart, and 3 of them making No. 1, as well as his collaborative work with Beth Hart, SeaSaw, earning him a Grammy Award nomination in 2013.
