Country supernova Dierks Bentley has recently announced his 33-concert ‘Broken Branches Tour.’ The trek comes in support of his forthcoming eleventh studio album and sees special guests Zach Top and The Band Loula take to the stage. The 49-year-old Phoenix native is first swinging by Camden at New Jersey’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on Thursday 7th August. After that, the “What Was I Thinkin'” hitmaker will boot scoot into Buffalo’s Darien Lake Amphitheater on Thursday 14th August, Holmdel at New Jersey’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Friday 15th August, New York’s Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Saturday 16th August, and New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday 28th August.
In addition to the highly anticipated tour, Dierks Bentley also has several one-offs and festival dates lined up, such as Nashville’s ‘Grand Ole Opry Live Celebration’ on 19th March alongside Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, and more.
“I’m 20(ish) years into doing this, and I’ve seriously never been more excited about a tour,” Dierks Bentley said in a statement. “We had Zach out for a few shows last summer, and I knew right away that we had to do more together. He loves the same kind of country music I do, and he’s got the bluegrass chops to hang with the best of ‘em in a jam. I’ve got a million ideas for the set list rolling around in my head. It’ll be fun to figure out how to make it all come to life with a new album and new production.”
Even though Bentley hasn’t officially announced a new record release date yet, he did drop the song “She Hate Me,” which tells the story of a woman who is no longer charmed by his classic country charms, on Valentine’s Day.
