Yep! You heard me right - The indie pop boys from NYC AJR are coming to town - and everyone’s invited! On Sunday, July 20th, catch the group at Shoreline Amphitheatre rocking out on stage with Quinn XCII, Cavetown Valley, and Madilyn Mei for what’s sure to be the best show of the summer.

Us here at Shoreline Amphitheatre in beautiful Mountain View California are so excited to welcome AJR to the stage as a part of their Somewhere In The Sky Tour, coming to town on Sunday July 20th, for the first stop of their tour! With fourteen dates scheduled across America throughout the summer and a bit of the fall time, the boys will also be bringing the talented Quinn XCII, Cavetown Valley, and Madilyn Mei to open the shows for what is sure to be a once in a lifetime mash-up of music from the new age of Indie Pop superstars.
AJR (which stands for the first letters of each of the band member’s names - Adam, Jack and Ryan) are an Indie Pop trio who grew up in New York City. They are also brothers, and as they grew up they honed their vocals, instrumentation, and songwriting abilities with aspirations of one day forming a band with each other. Their output is impressive - since their first EP in 2013, they have recorded over 100 songs - however their spectacular curation and attention to detail has seen them only release five projects. They first became big with their SpongeBob Squarepants flip and subsequently mega-single “I’m Ready” which went double platinum in America and around the world. Since then, they have enjoyed success and air time from all of their projects, most recently bringing us The Maybe Man back in 2023.
Speaking on their tour recently as they announced the dates and the full line up, the group said “There’s something magical about outdoor shows, whether it’s festivals or our own headline gigs. We’ve been missing that connection with our fans, so we pulled together a bunch of our friends into a great lineup, created some new cool effects and found the perfect excuse to get back out there!”. And we are so ready for you, AJR!
