Folk icon Neil Young is returning to the road after a long hiatus. The incredibly talented Canadian and American singer-songwriter is making his way across the world with his backing band, Chrome Hearts. They are taking the highly anticipated Love Earth World Tour to the legendary Shoreline Amphitheatre on Friday 12th September 2025. The Chrome Hearts feature Neil Young, alongside longtime collaborator Spooner Oldham (Farfisa organ), Micah Nelson on guitar and vocals, Corey McCormick on bass and vocals, as well as Anthony LoGerfo on drums. The announcement of the Love Earth World Tour comes hot off the heels of their latest hit. In January, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts issued their first official single, “Big Change,” and we’re obsessed!! The song is a “in your face loud irreverent rock’n’roll paint splatter on the canvas in the vein of a Jackson Pollack painting,” said Neil Young’s longtime engineer, John Hanlon. Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts have recently announced plans for their Love Earth World Tour which is taking place this summer. Following a long hiatus from the road due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Neil Young is returning to the live stage. So, you can imagine how popular this event will be! The first run of the trek launches on 18th June in Rättvik, Sweden and makes its way through Europe and the U.K.. The North American leg kickstarts in North Carolina on 8th August, and makes its way to world class venues like California’s Shoreline Amphitheatre, before wrapping up in Los Angeles on 15th September.
The Chrome Hearts feature Neil Young, alongside longtime collaborator Spooner Oldham (Farfisa organ), Micah Nelson on guitar and vocals, Corey McCormick on bass and vocals, as well as Anthony LoGerfo on drums. The road trip is hailed in the announcement as “bringing his music and songs, new and old, to you. Their recent single ‘big change’ [styled all lowercase] is the first introduction of what’s to come on the Love Earth tour.”

If you didn’t already know, Neil Young is an incredibly talented Canadian and American singer-songwriter. He burst onto the music scene in Winnipeg in the 1960s. After moving to Los Angeles, the star joined the folk rock group Buffalo Springfield. Since the start of his successful solo career, he has worked with the band, Crazy Horse. Over the years, he has released critically acclaimed records, such as 1969’s Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, 1970’s After the Gold Rush, 1972’s Harvest, 1974’s On the Beach, and 1979’s Rust Never Sleeps.
